The pre-owned R&S ESR3 unites a CISPR 16-1-1-compliant EMI receiver with a high-dynamic-range spectrum analyzer, providing full-standard emissions testing from 9 kHz to 3.6 GHz without external mixers.
Integrated preselection, wide 10 Hz–10 MHz RBWs and selectable peak, quasi-peak and average detectors let engineers verify commercial limits and hunt spurious emitters in a single sweep. A typical –168 dBm noise floor (with the 20 dB pre-amp) and ≤ 0.3 dB total uncertainty secure confident margin analysis, while USB/LAN—and optional GPIB—support automated limit-line scans and remote logging.
Supplied fully tested, freshly calibrated and firmware-current, this ESR3 offers immediate, cost-efficient pre-compliance capability without sacrificing Rohde & Schwarz precision or long-term serviceability.
